About the NWGGA

The Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Association (NWGGA) was established in 1998 by Jim Jeffers of James Arthur Winery and Ed Swanson of Cuthills Vineyard and Winery in an effort to bring together the members of a new and exciting industry in the state of Nebraska.

The objectives of the Association are to:

·        provide a formal structure for a statewide association of grape growers and

wineries.

·        promote the growth of the Nebraska grape and wine industry.

·        promote the production of high quality Nebraska grapes and wine.

·        disseminate information about and represent the interests of the Nebraska

grape and wine industries.

·        provide a forum for the exchange of information regarding optimum

agricultural practices for grape growers.

·        identify and disseminate information regarding equipment, supplies, and vines

for establishing or maintaining a vineyard.

·        recommend and encourage research to solve viticulture problems.

·        analyze and disseminate information regarding the marketing of Nebraska

grapes and wines.

·        represent the interests of Nebraska winery and grape growers.
