About the NWGGA
The Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers
Association (NWGGA) was established in 1998 by Jim Jeffers of James
Arthur Winery and Ed Swanson of Cuthills Vineyard and Winery in an
effort to bring together the members of a new and exciting industry
in the state of Nebraska.
The objectives of
the Association are to:

provide a formal structure for a statewide association of grape
growers and
wineries.
·
promote the growth of the Nebraska grape and wine industry.
·
promote the production of high quality Nebraska grapes and wine.
·
disseminate information about and represent the interests of the
Nebraska
grape and wine
industries.
·
provide a forum for the exchange of information regarding optimum
agricultural
practices for grape growers.
·
identify and disseminate information regarding equipment, supplies,
and vines
for establishing
or maintaining a vineyard.
·
recommend and encourage research to solve viticulture problems.
·
analyze and disseminate information regarding the marketing of
Nebraska
grapes and wines.
·
represent the interests of Nebraska winery and grape growers.
